You turn the two controllers like your holding a real motorbike's handle bars. Also twisting the Wii-remote and the nunchuk gives "reving-up" functions. Braking functions/other functions too?
Take a Look. If you can play Baseball with the Wii-mote why ot cricket?

Cricket...
Well this is obvious just like baseball, Wii-mote = Cricket Bat!
Holding the Wii-mote in your hand upright and swing you hands like you were running. The faster you can keep up the swing the more your on screen player moves/runs(your Mii/or if its a 3rd party game a famous cricketer perhaps?)
You can hold you Wii-mote and do taht action they always do when preparing for the ball. Tap the back a few times on the pitch then get ready to swing for that ball just like in real life! 6 runs then?! Or is it a 4?

What's more players that play as fielders could use either just the Wiimote alone or use the nuncuk attachment? Wii-mote is one hand nunchuk is the other and like Mario Strikers Charged(the football/soccer game coming on Wii) control both hands, and this time put out both hands to get the catch!

How about using the Wii-mote-nunchuk control to control you hands on screen to hit the stumps and get an out!

Throwing the ball around the pitch to other fielders players is as simple and intuative as you would do in real life, just use the Wii-mote/nunchuk and do the action!

Bowling!...Bowling the ball ...use the Wii-mote alone as I said abovehold it upright and move you arm as if you were running in the swift motion and then do the actual bowling motion as a cricketer would in real life! Howzat!

Shall I go on? One player can play as the umpire? This is wher non-gamers could be brought in by the Wii once again? All the umpire has to do is call out and make signs when someone hits a 6 or gets 4 runs! Don't forget the infamous hes out sign. That 1 finger in the air? Now how do you suupose you do that using the Wii-mote hmm? Simple. Raise it in the air like the umpire would his hand!

Basketball!...
How could Nintendo or third parties not use the new Wii-mote and nunchuk for this purpose? You can even use BOTH hands and make this semi-realistic basketball simulator! Both hands are mapped to the Wii-note and nunchuk respectively to both hands on screen? Unlike some other tilt controllers out there. *ahem*.

To shoot you use the Wii-mote and nunchuk to, shoot! Make the action just like in real life with both hands obviously.

If Nintendo made say a Wii-Sports game like this where you had a little training area with just the basket and you Mii in front of you. How would it work though? First person mode or third person mode or both? Well in first person mode that would be best to "take the shot using the Wii-mote and Nunchuk to do the shooting action.

On the big Court, this is how I envision it. To pass you flick your Wii-mote/nunchuk and this is all done in the traditional 3rd person mode of course. Then when you have the ball on the court you press say the A button which means you want ot take a shot. So it then goes to a firt person view so you can then take that shot!
Take your best shot!
:)

Free throws.. well obviously go to first person and do the shooting action as you would in real life. You see the basket in front of you and you control both your hands on the screen. With the flick of your wrist. Maybe you have to hold down the A button on the Wii-mote to make your character grab the ball? Certainly this will be more immersive and realistic than another motion sensing free throw taking controller on the market? *ahem*

Dribbling... Use the Wii-mote/nunchuk to simulate dribbling actions, just like in real like. But exactly how would this be implemented/ I am not quite sure so I am only laying out the plan of ideas. Developers are the ones who have to unlock the doors. :)

Is there anything that I have forgotten. Please leave comments...

More ideas here: http://gonintendo.com/?p=17103#comments

"Wii-tar" Hero!

UPDATE [26 April 2007]

GUITAR HERO III is coming to Wii as was announced this month.

Now IGN has released mock-up picks of what the Wii-mote+Guitar hero guitar peripheral might look like...

Guitar Peripheral Mock-up by IGN.

...previously...
"Wii-tar Hero" or Guitar Hero For the Wii

Wii-mote,nunchuk and Guitar Hero how will this possibly all work?
Or will Red Octane(Guitar Hero's developers) just make yet another Guitar peripheral, this time for Wii.
Will the Wii-mote slot in somewhere just to make it wireless(just like how the Wii-mote and classic controller go together)
Will it get plugged WIRED into the gamecube port? However further on in the game you may need to use both hands, so either TWO Wii-motes could be used. Or Maybe it would be best to just attach the nunchuk? I don't know if you would need to synch a second Wii-mote or you could just pick it up and go?

So you ask whats so different? How about tilting the Wii-mote forward and backward for movement. If that is possible for the motion sensor to control movement?

If we are talking TWO Wii-motes:
Whichever is your primary hand(left or right handed) that will be used for movement? Tilt the controller forward to move your character forward. Title you controller back to back-up.( of course there could be an invert option for this? and of course sensitivity settings?)
Tilt your controller sideways to move sideways(left or right) strafing.

Looking around? Hold the A button and tilt the controller in the required direction?
Up, Down, Left, Right.

If you are using both your hands(for instance you now have items in both hands) Hold both A buttons of both Wii-motes and do the same as above(Up,Down,Left,Right)

Swift Turning. Hold D-pad left/right and rapidly turn the Wii-mote(either left or right?)

The B-trigger button obviously is for actions or shooting, activiting somthing or other actions!

If you do not press A but just hold the two Wii-motes and you say have a weapon or item in your hand/s and you do a twisting motion your character on screen does the same. Say you just want to look at the item your holding? Speaking of this, of course "gangsta style" holding of a weapon is allowed! Am looking at you Red Steel 2!

So that's it for using TWO Wii-motes
.

Ok what about ONE Wii-mote and ONE "nunchaku" attached?

Could looking simple be mapped to the thumbstick of the nunchaku? Left right,up and down?
Also this same titling to perform movement? Tilt forward walk forward,. Tilt back walk backward. Tilt sideways to strafe left/right.

Maybe it could be done with EITHER or both as with two Wii-motes?

Swift turning again press A hold D-pad (on the Wii-mote in the desired direction: left/right)
And once again, the B-trigger button obviously is for actions or shooting, activating somthing or other actions!

Idea: by me GWX

Star Wars Wii! I as a Star Wars fan am asking no, am begging Nintendo and its partners(LucasArts?) to really consider this. This is the best idea I have seen displayed for a Wii-controlled game. This person really edited and put this short trailer video together nicely showing all the actions could be done using the Wii-mote/"nunchaku" expansion controllers, making this game so immersive! (using the trailer footage of this game for Xbox360 and PS3!)

You can clearly SEE how these ideas of control could be implemented into the game, which is really exciting(again, for StarWars fans! or maybe anyone for that matter?)
Nintendo, LucasArts take note. Escpecially YOU LucasArts. Your only bringing the game to PS3 and Xbox360 but not Wii. Tsk.

I am sure a custom engine could be made for Wii as you obviously cannot port down(or it would be too complicated/technical to do so?) the graphics engine to Wii from the PS3, Xbox360 versions?

Or you just dont care? HD higher spec(PS3,360) is where its at and the "kiddy" underpowered (non-HD, low spec)Nintendo console of Wii can...you know what? (am asuming this is the way you feel or how most people feel?) Wii is obviously a great new console for all ages! Not to mention the innovation the controller provides over other platforms.

Use the force?!

Idea 70 by : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VuzFzs0hPKc

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://wiigameideas.blogspot.com/2007/01/star-wars-wii.html' title='Star Wars Wii! You flick them(you might wail heeya for the 'full effect'?) or even gideeup horsey? ahaha

So you flick them in that motion and your character on screen(Link?) does the same and the horse(Epona?) goes galloping! Obviously when you want the horse to slow down yo do that other motion with the reins as well.(pull back?!)

Of course I am thinknig of first being in third person camera view(isn't Zelda traditionally a third person action game?) So then you press a button (lets assume A) to get into first person seeing over the reins of the horse. You then have control of the left side of the rein(left hand) with whichever controller is in your left hand(Wii-mote/Nunchaku) and the right rein with whichever controller is in your right hand(Wii-mote or nunchaku) and you do that flicking motion and your in business!

What do you think? I hope Nintendo hasn't already done so in Twilight Princess? But judging from the videos I have seen(I havn't played the game) I think its different but am not sure? (W.G.I file 17)...

This idea was sent straight to my e-mail inbox, by: dvd: http://dvd101x.blogspot.com/
Idea 67: PICMIN + ANTS = PIKMANTS?

Captain Olimar, Louis, Verna and Waldo are having many problems getting income for Hocotate Freight company. They are looking for new planets with valuable things to get and they land in a planet with very few stuff to get but very valuable. The planet is full of barriers and enemies and there is only one or two items to get in every land and those are heavily guarded by enemies.

You found that there is an evolution of picmins in that planet. They are some kind of insects called pikmants. They have the ability of harvest leaves and build ant nests of different kinds with different functions.

Gameplay---
You need wiimote and nunchuck by the way the it would be best for the nuchuk to have a mic in this case the mic would work when held up, like a walkie talkie.
You aim with the nuchuk wistle with B and action with A.
If you tilt the controller left (gangster style) you enter the bild menu, if you tilt it right you enter the action menu. The menus are big around the center of the screen and transparent. You can save actions into the d pad while pointing at the action/build desired action.
The nunchuk joystick works for panning.

Pikmants ---
You will have about 8 different kinds of pikmants each needing a different amount of leaves to be built. Some attack from short distance or far. Some build nests fast, some attacks with acid, some defend other pikmants, some fly, some are observers and can see what is inside the nests or buried, some are buried. Etc.

Nests ---
They will all be buried with a distinctive entrance. Some for the ants to rest, some for food, for hatching eggs, for transportation and can be destroyed by the enemy.

Multiplayer ---
You will all fight for the item that is buried in the nest of the other contestants and when their item is lost they can’t continue playing.
You can play online and can make alliances, break them and talk to each other via the mic.
You will have some action commands to show stuff on the map.
You can say "allyes attack" and point with the wiimote
"Defend" "move" so others see de advice on their screens.
You can have 4 hives attacking each other, or make groups of hives, or varios capitans controlling each hive.
The game will be between pikmin 2 and age of empires.

---

This is one of the deepest thought out ideas I have gotten. Its also the first one I have gotten sent to me in my inbox, I think.

If only I got more creative ideas from fans like this. Plus, if only Nintendo and its game development partners would skim over the site and at least take a look at what the fans are saying. Many of these ideas just like the one I got from dvd above are awesome(plus all the previous 16 files of ideas form fellow gamers and myself? as well), I would love to see them become games or be used for games, but I know thats probably not going to happen?
But I'll just keep the site going. Hopefully you folks keep the ideas coming?

watch this space?

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://wiigameideas.blogspot.com/2006/11/picmin-ants-pikmants-wgi-file-17.html' title='PICMIN + ANTS = PIKMANTS? Can you find the "Wii-mote"?

Some of them are peripherals Nintendo have developed/currently developing and shown to the public at E3 and other game events this year, but there are some original ideas here. It would be amazing with the Wii controller!.
Move controller around to shine torch around. Use nunchuk to pull back on the ghosts with the D-Stick. Add more power to the Poltergust, Allowing you to smack the ghosts against objects in the room. Making Objects more interactive. eg. The pots fly off the tables and smash. Replace Game boy Horror with "ghoul screen". Make the Mansion more Free with more rooms and more access to the outside. Being able to walk to E.Gadd instead of being Warped. Using the Poltergust for more things.. like a Jet pack or Scuba Gear. Make the game Longer and Harder and possibly Scarier. Anybody else got any ideas? I Hope Nintendo are listening to this. It would be a right winner if Nintendo Took Ideas from the Public.

Shoe Wii-mote Controller? Imagine using the laser...you hold the Wii-remote and press the trigger and direct the laser on screen? Now do I need to say HOW you could use the guns? Imagine a TWO Wii-remote configuration, meaning that on-screen you would be dual wielding, much like in Rogue Agent? Imagine if the Zapper perihperal (as shown at E3 this year and many Nintendo press events later?) for the Wii-remote/"nunchaku" was used?

I might add to this later...
Idea 62: by: ME

Idea 61: "Natural uses of the hand"? (use two Wii-remotes? or One "nunchaku" and One Wii-remote?)
Well ,well the Wii-remote. It is such an innovation. But have you as a gamer or a game developer(who knows who reads this blog?). Have you really thought of how the Wii-remote could be used to perform(or simulate in the game?) the simple everyday actions we do with our own hands.

These ideas stem from my own thought AND I wonder why I never posted them long ago. I mean the ideas in File 10: Idea 57 should of triggered a miriad of ideas?...and maybe it did. But maybe its only now the brain juices are flowing that the ideas are spilling... ?
Let me break it down.

Handshakes: Could the "nunchaku" expansion do this motion? Or do you NEED to use the Wii-remote. Of course its pretty straight forward how you would do this. You simple hold the controller and do the action that you would do in real life and its relayed to your character on screen, who does the same(this would look best in first person mode as you see you characters hand shaking another characters hand. ok?

Punching: Again see ideas in File 10: Idea 57. But this is pretty straight forward. We definetly know the "Nunchaku" expansion controller can do this motion as well as blocking...see that FPS game Ubisoft is making (Red Steel). Thurthermore if the Wii-remote is used, then you can actually twisting motions to twist your on screen characters hands? Maybe to check if you damaged you hands when you did the punch/es. Heh.

Slapping?: Both the Wii-mote and "Nunchaku" controllers should be able to do this? Just do the action holding the Wii-mote and you characters on screen "does the rest" heh.

Waving: Well it doesn't get any simplier than this does it? Do the action with the Wii-remote or "nunchaku"? and your character on screen waves...Hmm this reminds of of a minigame from WarioWare DS?

Tapping: Tap someone on the shoulder? Imagine a NPC(non playable character) is walking away from you(after a conversation perhaps?). You do the action with the Wii-remote and tap them on the back of their sholder to tell them your not finished talking and you have somthing more to say....or what else could a tapping motion be used for in a videogame? Ah maybe my next idea is a clue...

Door Knocking/knocking/rapping: Yeah you could knock on doors just like in real life. Do the motion with the Wii-remote and wala...oh we already know that we can do the actions to open doors as seen in the Red Steel game from Ubisoft. So am sure many developers will utilise this in ALL games that have doors opening or somthing of that sort made for Wii?

Throwing, Tossing, lobbing: AM SURE this is already being utilised in many games as we speak. Think of Call of Duty games or any first person shooters such as the James Bond series (take hint Activision?) because this is my favourite FPS series. *wink*...grenade throwing? Sports games the ball. Baseball..cricket...tennis...its all good. Er for cricket, you could control your characters running up with the ball with the "nunchaku" then do the bowling action with the Wii-remote! You could also catch the ball the Wii-remote/"nunchaku" by doing the action and just like baseball the batting actions!

Lifting, Hoisting, Carrying: Things. All using the natural intuative actions/motions with the Wii-remote with "nunchaku" expansion controller. Imagine someone, a chacracter in the game is in danger. You know that scene it happens all the time in movies? They are trapped underneath some rubble and you have to lift it off. An easily done action using the Wii-remote right?

Other Actions: Hand signals?... sign language perhaps? How about picking up items in the virtual game world. How about pushing knobs, pulling levers/pusing levers, cranking levers turning pulling shoving derpressing and pressing buttons all with the intuative natural actions using the Wii-remote or "nunchaku" expansion combined with the Wii-remote?
How about pinning up a picture on a wall? Or replacing a picture or painting in a game that has fallen? ...

How about making up a bed in game(er don't go there please..and you know what I mean. where your mind has probably gone? That would have to be rated AO).
How about turning on a computer monitor/tv monitor in a game to view somthing "mission critical"?

How about your character bathing. Then putting on their clothes. Applying deoderant or pefume spray...etc etc All actions can de done with the Wii-remote!

How about reading a book or a newspaper in the game? You do the actions with the Wii-remote and or/ combined with the "nunchaku" expansion and you can pickup a book or newspaper or magazine and read the text on it. You would be in first person view of course and you would be seeing you characters on screen do all the actions your doing and you could even turn the pages...fold the newspaper and throw it back down!

I might get more ideas to add to this list...watch this space. I just hope I havn't repeated myself?

Is there anything you can't do with the Wii-remote, in a videogame? The possibilities are endless arn't they?

Idea 61: by : ME

Idea 60: Spray painting with the Wii-remote!
This is self explanatory don't you think? Look at the Wii-remote it would work perfectly as a spray paint "can". In a graffitti style spray painting game? How about customising your "ride" in Need for Speed game? How about using the "nunchaku" to move around your character on screen(walk into your "garage" and walk up to your "ride" and then using the Wii-remote and perhaps the B trigger button to spraypaint your ride!...all in first person view with FREEHAND control of course with the option of switching the camera to OTHER views such as third person? to take a different viewpoint at how your "masterpiece" is progressing?
Idea 60: by: ME.

Idea 59: Well this is a compilation of several Ideas
A nice compilation of ideas I got from this website:
T3 : The world's number 1 gadget website? Talking about one of the ideas they mentioned there: I never even thought of how the game of darts and how perfect it would fit with the Wii-remote! go see @ T3.co.uk

Idea 59: by: T3.co.uk: The World's No.1 gadget mag?

Wii Game Ideas (file 11)...

Yes finally the blog is in motion again. There is a drought of ideas from other fans, so it seems I will have to single handedly brain storm some ideas to keep the blog going...
Anyway here it goes...

--EDITED--- please read again?

Idea 58: Tug of Wii!
How did I come about with this idea?: After seeing the Ninteno company picnic photos(playing tug of war) at gonintendo.com
Yes that old game "Tug of War". Am assuming you all know what I mean? I mean am assuming you all played this at some point in your lives or have seen it being played at least? At school, college university or somewhere? Maybe even at home? :)

Anyway, this could make for a simple but very interesting game. One that could be downloaded over WiiConnect24? One that would cost say $5, $10, $15. One that anyone of any age could play?

Well of course the Wii-remote is perfect for this sort of ACTION. Get two Wii-remotes or even one Wii-remote AND 1 "nunchaku" expansion and you could play. You simple do the tugging actions like your tugging the rope in real life, and hopefully your team pulls the opponents "over the line" or aheh into the mudhole?(this is a video game so you could select mud, water, slime or even a lava pool?!) EDIT--Imagine you could even do a twisting motion to get a tangle like grip on the rope using the Wii-remote. But the "nunchaku" expansion wouldn't be able to do this...because it doesn't have ALL the functions that the Wii-remote has.

I mean think of it, you could setup the match wether its one vs one two versus two or even handicaps?...or even online over Nintendo WIFI. Imagine 4 vs 4 8 vs 8 16 vs 16 or 32 vs 32 if the Wii is powerfull enough to do that online?

Imagine putting your charachetures into the game unto your character(your face?), and taking it online for some crazy "Tug of War" or should I say "Tug of Wii" action!

Of course, one would ask how would it work. I mean If you do the actions for pulling the rope with your Wii-mote/s, and someone else with their Wii-remote/s dooes the same trying to pull against you, where is the power struggle going to come from?

Simple? answer: context sensetive button presses. Along with doing the simple natural and intuative action of pulling you will also have to press buttons/button combos when alerted on the screen. The button you will have to press will change at random and also how long or how rapidly and how much times you have to hit the button will also be at random.(maybe this can be customised as two how difficult the game will be to play, and also how it will be controlled?) I mean if its going to be an E(everyone) rated game it must be very simple and easy to control and play.

An icon will pop up on screen to show how far the rope is being pulled, so you will know who is winning the tug of war *ahem* Wii!...and of course you will be able to see some kind of indication from watching the on-screen?! :) (Maybe you can always rapidly switch the camera view somehow?)
Also in customising your character, you will be able to choose characteristics like height weight build, strength and power?

So each tug of war team will have different choices to make(just like in real life?). Like who will be the front man/anchor?(or is it at the back)(maybe choose a "big built" person for that) and who will be in the middle and at the rear etc etc...

Also there will be certain simple rules, to make the teams sort of evenly matched? and to make sure there is no cheating(especially if this will be WIFI ONLINE) So like you can't have two and three "big" people while the other team has only one, which will make them severely disadvantaged? Or you can't have an entire team of built muscle bound people while the tother team has skinny "pencil knecks"? I dunno...maybe the disadvantages will be fun..Maybe thats what the game should allow? :)

Graphics?: This game would be awesome if it had how do I say this: tru-to-life realistic style graphics like you were playing tug of war in a park or somthing(much like the Nintendo company picnic?)...but cell shaded or "cartoony" stuff would do? I mean if it is going to be a download over Wii-Connect 24 I dont know if developers are going to go all out on grahpics to make it supr realistic stuff, if the Wii is that developer and budget friendly? I mean Nintendo could easily use all its franchise characters just like in Smash Brothers to do this Tug of Wii game. But on the other hand they could do realistic graphics and release this on a dvd-game disc instead of over WiiConnect? But then it wouls cost more? I dunno?... Either way it would be a great game to lay don't you think?

Also I know this blog is about Wii game ideas, but now am thinking about the stylus and the DS, could there be an iteration on the DS a well? hmm?

Idea 58 by ME.

Wii Game Ideas (file 10)...

Idea 57: Power Glove Reborn? for Wii!

This one a ran across at Gonintendo.com, who got it from : http://theboard.zogdog.com/index.php?showtopic=12472
I don't think one needs to point out the GAMING implications of adding TWO Wii-motes to "gloves" in that configuration WITH the "nunchaku" as depicted there...for boxing games, for FPS games even?, for other games?...handshaking, blocking fist for blocking incoming attacks and generally for boxing games(did I already say that?)...

Idea 57: by: zaiten @ ZogDog.com Forums

Wii Game Ideas (file9)...

Idea 56: How about a first-person Donkey Kong with vine-only levels?
To grab on to vines you could throw your nunchuk arm out and press A at the right time to grab on, and hold your nunchuk above your head to hang. The idea of the game revolves around you meeting Triad contacts around Europe and China. Doing Jobs like torturing people for money, transporting illegal immigrants, gang showdowns featuring inituative knife controls and heists of places like Banks and Shops were you have to keep the Wii-mote up pointing your gun or knife at the staffs heads to scare them more.

You will travel yourself or by Triad bought transportation e.g bullet Proof Limo etc. You will start off in Britain in the Asian part of London thats ravaged by crime and drugs, You meet an asscociate with this triad gang who offer you a job to go to a shop and rob it with an associate. Once done you then keep on going up the ladder doing more important jobs scarier things and more violent things throughout the game. When you dominate the triad gang(this should take a while) You can start running buisnesses like the cocaine industry or try and take over corporations like Sony to fund your schemes.

With Wii connect 24 nintendo could add events in the game like terroist attacks new gangs popping up etc. I think this would be possible with the Wii.

Idea 55 by: smackbang @ Gamespot Forums

Idea 54: how about a DBZ game where you use two remotes... let me explain. The game would look the same way that the tenkaichi or whatever they're called does, and each wii-mote controls either side of the characters body! Then to fight simply push the wii-mote towards the screen and presto a punch; hold down A for example and a kick on that leg is performed. The same could be done by pressing B and shooting a basic fireball.

Special attacks would actually require you to do the physical movements, e.g. for a Kamehameha you would have to start charging your beam by placing your hands in the same way Goku does. The wii-motes would begin to rumble as the more power you build up and when you want to shoot it you simply move the 2 controllers forward like in the series and your on screen character would mimic that. Now that I believe would be a good idea
I could keep going but I'm gonna end up writing a wall of text and people will start hating me I hope not?

Idea 54 by: Keibo @ Gamespot Forums

Idea 53: Wii is going to be a great console for puzzle games, the controller makes awesome gameplay ideas possible. For instance, you could have a 3D puzzle game where you're supposed to stack different forms, you could use the nunchaku to turn the stack around and then use the wii-mote to push, pull, lift and twist the different shapes to where you want them. Another idea could be a game where you're supposed to copy things, for instance a clay pot, you get a model of the pot, and then you have to take a piece of clay and turn(is that what it's called?) it on your potters wheel.

Idea 53 by: yellonet @ Gamespot Forums

Idea 52 : Wii Answer the Matrix Phone?! Yes we all know how they do in the Matrix movies. They pick up the phone reciever and they "jack-out" of the matrix. Now if somehow the developers made it so that the motion sensors in the Wii-mote know when you pick it up...your character on screen picks up the phone reciever and mimics all your actions as you actually do them(even when you place it against your head to speak!) AND then you can speak to the "OPERATOR" on the Wii-mote (if it had a mic attachment peripheral in the expansion port?) that would basically turn it into a "phone" with the speaker already embedded, right? Could voice recognition come into play somehow also? That is, when you say the words into the "Wii-mic"? of the "Wii-phone"? to the game?

An e.g of gameplay "answering the phone": just imagine agents are chasing you, and you need to get to a phone to get out of the matrix immediately. You get to the payphone or if you inside a building you get to the telephone, and you simply do the actions with you Wii-mote and your character on screen mimics them and the familiar matrix-like white silouette flash and your jacked out?
Now thats immersion for you!

Idea 52 by: ME

Idea 51: How about a game about nintendo going to destroy sony HQ? You can use either miyamoto or iwata to begin but the futher you progress the more characters you unlock. Story is "ninty" are fed up of sony stealing ideas such as the tilt sensor, rumble and decide enough is enough. You can use weapons such as star fox's blaster (your starter weapon) then you unlock super scope and your best weapon being samus' arm cannon with the omega cannon. You control the game with the zapper gun like the prototype one seen at E3 06'. It could have a red steal effect and you maybe could use the master sword? That would rule! I hope I haven't gone to far. Sony shall be deystroyed by none other than........Miyamoto!

Idea 51 by: dsdudes @ Nintendo.co.uk Community

Idea(s?) 50: how about a game where you have to guide dogs on floating surf boards, through a series of mazes and through rings of fire etc and you guide them by pointing at the screen. Also you can attack enemies by twirling the nunchuck and fire bean bags by pressing the trigger button.

Can I add to my idea? The storyline is that these dogs were trained by a mysterious egg with a bowlerhat and a beared. They were found and raised by sharks when a scientist came and vapourised their parents. After they finsihed training they all recieved different coloured party hats. But Boioji the Cain Terrier lost his when he was surfing over a waterfall, it was stolen by a bucket and spade who use it to turn the world inside out. Boioji and his fellow dogs have to get it back, and destroy the bucket and spade.

Idea 50 by: Tiptup77 @ Nintendo.co.uk Community

Idea 49: Use the joint controls as a proper "nunchuck", you don't move, it will be like time crisis!
Idea 49 by: dark_link_777 @ Gamespot Forums

Idea 48: soulcalibur 4 fighting with sword,
hopefully Link is in there.
Idea 48 by: maxchou2003 @ Gamespot Forums

Idea 47: two wiimotes=two guns=unlimited fun
surgery/operation game ER style
CSI crime scene game
still thinking...
Idea 47 by: imdawiinner @ Gamespot Forums

Idea 46: a sword fighting game in a first person view, hopefully lord of the rings or something like it, and the "nunchuku" can be your shield or maybe a second sword, and wii-mote as your main sword. Only one idea, but it still an idea rather than none!

Keep them ideas coming folks they are awesome ALL OF THEM!

Idea 45: Akira: The Game. akiraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
You will play a powerfull teen-age boy with mystical powers and a city's military force is thriving to stop your every move. With the help of the Wii-mote you will defy gravity and levitate huge tanks and buildings. Use a small amount of strategy to ruin the good guys day, take out bridges and outposts. Bonus stages include; a motorcycle chase scene (where you control with the left and aim a gun at enemies with the right), and a Final battle in the stadium.

Idea 45: by : mil-key-lik @ Gamespot Forums

Wii Game Ideas (file 6)...

The ideas keep coming...

Idea 44: Classic Arcadia...
You use the wii-mote to play simple but addictive games. Like shooting targets in a canoe floating down a river or in an old west bar. Gun or arrows.Air-Hockey with the wii-mote held sideways, Billiards game Oh, and the "test your strength" use the wii-mote like a hammer straight down and on screen you hit a lever thing and it shows how much force you've used. Fly-swatting, bird swatting, gator swatting why not? OH and uhh.....dunno....that's all I can think of as for now.

Idea 44: by: kriptonzz @ Gamespot Forums

Idea 43: What about using the Wiimote for RTS games?
Push the "A" button and hold while dragging the mote to select your units, and use "Z" to place them or something. Also you can select one unit at a time by cursoring over the unit and pressing "A". Scrolling is done with the remote, or with the thumbstick. All other actions can be accomplished wiht the Wiimote.

Idea 43: by: _Quagy_Giggity @ Gamespot Forums

Idea 42: I have another idea... Lawn Mower Racing!
You could have all the different brands like John Deere, you could use push mowers, riders, etc. There could be water levels where you use a weedeater to propel your raft. The races could have tracks with rough patches of grass that you try to mow while racing. You could run over someone who crashed and then they would be out of the race (for obvious reasons)... ahh, i know my ideas suck.

Idea 42: by: channtheman @ Gamespot Fourms

Idea 41: In response to idea 26:
ZeldaNut113 wrote:
How about a game where a kid takes common everyday items (such as a clothes hanger, for example) and uses them as weapons to defeat an unknown enemy(bending the hanger into a boomerang, for example)?

I dunno, just tossin somethin out there...or to expand upon your idea. You could have a real life world, kinda like gta, only you could do whatever you wanted. Like say walk the dog, or get the mail. You could kill people if you wanted to. No real objectives, like animal crossing, only you can do anything... or something like that.

Idea 41: by: channtheman @ Gamespot Forums

Idea 40: What about a kayaking or rowing game?
Idea 40: by: Totodile @ Gamespot Forums

mode ideas uploading soon?...

Wii Game Ideas (file 5)...

Ideas file 5, hope all typos are now "fixed"?

Idea 39: A martial arts epic.
Controls- Wii-mote & "Nunchuka"- The analogue stick is used for character movement, the Z button is used to jump/flip, the A button is used to block, swinging/thrusting the Wii-mote & "Nunchuka" in different directions and patterns will cause different directional fist attacks, holding B on the Wii-mote toggles your attacks to kicks and the C button does the same for the "Nunchuka". Linking together different patterns of swinging the Wii-mote & "Nunchuka" will trigger different combos depending on the attacks used.

Game play elements- Not all attacks can be learnt/mastered straight away, some require a certain "Chi" or power level and some can only be taught by the master of that style, so you'll have to seek them out. Winning or loosing in fights will earn you Chi but simply fighting isn't enough, you must also perform other more peaceful martial arts like Tia Chi, oriental calligraphy and painting as well as performing different training regimes e.g. breaking wooden boards, kicking through trees, weapons training etc.

Idea 39: by: Morgario @ Gamespot Forums

Idea 38: Using the wiimote as a floating Joystick is a pretty nifty idea too.
This is not originally my idea but i dont know whose it was. Im not too good at english sorry me's probably using the wrong words here. You'd need to countersteer and 'lean' with them. Turn them to shift gears/gass. Might be funny, though how would they determine how much You steer if You don't hold the wii-motes kind of on the same level? Oh well, it might be a fun way to drive.

Idea 37: by: KungfuKitten @ Gamespot Forums

Idea 36: Action Rpg like the tales of symphonia
Idea 36: by: goodgrief26 @ Gamespot Forums

Idea 35: The Wii, Seeing is believing:
http://uk.gamespot.com/pages/forums/show_msgs.php?topic_id=24736372&page=0
Now that i have a good amount of post here for this thread i will answer how it can be done. I can just imagine a game were you use a cane to find your way around. The sound coming from the controller can give many context clues about where footsteps and other sounds are directed. Imagine a game where your a blind man trying to put away the man who killed your family and caused your blindness. Even if this is a very short part in the game, i think it's very relavent.

Idea 35: by: mil-key-lik @ Gamespot Forums

Idea 34: Battalion wars
Idea 34: by: goodgrief26 @ Gamespot Forums

Idea 33: In response to Idea 30
gotta praise good ideas Anyway, connection seems like a great idea, if you put a bunch of colors in the energy waves it could be a very beautiful and trippy thing to watch. I've always been a fan of transparent colors and energy waves (shiny things draw me). But i'd like to hear more about the goal-line. So far the game's biggest challenge is to be able to guide the waves while managing to not run out of them (which sounds like it could get very frantic and fun). But what about the goal-line? would it be a rectangle pool? what if it was like some sort of water maze? I love this idea, it just sounds like a lot of fun. Lets hear more details (and more talk about shiny colors).

Idea support by: Eonifer @ Gamespot Forums

Idea 32: an online shooter would be nice
Idea 32: by: Phenom92 @ Gamespot Forums

Idea 31: Waffles?
Idea 31: by: izzypar92 @ Gamespot Forums

Idea 30: Ok one more, cause Eonifer praised me so much tonight (thanks):
Now this one might take a moment to visualise, feel free to tell me if something isn't explained well enough. The concept isn't worked out or so, it was just a thought. Think of the screen/game as a pool of water viewed from above. In which You have to guide certain waterwaves from a startline to a goalline. But with a transparent energy field instead of water and bright 'energy' waves instead of waterwaves for the looks.

Here's how it would work: A level starts by You tapping the energyfield in a starting area to create the first waves. Then You can draw lines, triangles, circles and other shapes that become available in tetris-style, (1 different shape at a time.) in the energy field. You can draw them in any angle You wish. Once a drawn shape gets 'hit' by the waves the shape will emit the waves' light in the shape of an arrow(s) for a short time, during which You can tap it to make it continue the waves' journey. The arrow(s) indicates the direction the waves will travel once You tap it. The longer You wait with tapping, the less waves it will emit. If You have no waves left You lose. The bigger You make those shapes, the waves it emits become slow and travel shorter distance. If You dont let the waves hit a shape before they stop traveling the waves 'die' on You. Also, if You catch more wave with a shape, the better (it has a positive effect on travel distance but also speed). This way You have to balance Yourself constantly. Not too big and not too small, the right shapes, the right angles, tapping fast enough, catching not too little or too much wave, more and more precise.

Idea 30: by: KungfuKitten @ Gamespot Forums

Idea 29: some good sword/ melee weapon first person fighting games
Idea 29: by: Ben-X @ Gamespot Forums

Idea 28: I have a great game idea. It's not very planned, but it's a good concept.
You use the remote to shoot and the "nunchaku" to move... JK (joking) :)

It's a 1st person boxing game. This one is gonna be crazy. 2 "nunchuks"(if possible). 1 analog stick is used to control your lower body (move), while the other is used for your upper body(bob 'n weave) Can you guess how you punch?

The motion control is for more than just punching.
Picture this: use your weak hand to protect your cut forehead, while the ol' quickster goes in for some sick 1-hand jabs until the round expires. Sounds great/crappy on paper?
Well, I thought of it as soon as I read this thread. I'd have to see it in action.
The unique fact about this game is unaccesibility. Whereas Wii-Sports concentrates on delivering fun to all gamers, only real boxing fans will mess with this one. Plus, it's a new excuse for excerise.
Sorry if this idea has already been thought of: let me know what you think!
Edit: I just realized that the buttons on the things can be utilized for anything else.

Idea 28: by: supamane_x @ Gamespot Forums

Idea 27: how about (I just thought of this idea right now) a snowball game...
where you use your wii-mote to both make and throw snowballs and to build your fort. I don't think I would pay $50 for it, but it would be pretty fun I think if it was summer and you couldn't do something like this.

Idea 27: by: lulu52 @ Gamespot Forums

Idea 26: How about a game where a kid takes common everyday items...
(such as a clothes hanger, for example) and uses them as weapons to defeat an unknown enemy(bending the hanger into a boomerang, for example)?
I dunno, just tossin somethin out there...

Idea 26: by: ZeldaNut113 @ Gamespot Forums

Idea 25: donkey kong 64 2!
Idea 25: by: SnowBoard_Kid @ Gamespot Forums

These ideas are great folks keep them coming?...

Wii Game Ideas (file4)...

--edited, typos and changed a bit---

Well, its a slow day, no ideas from the gamespot forums or anyone so. I will now post my ideas that I had posted in the original blog(and some new ones?), that I had later removed and now remade again! :)
Here it goes...

Idea(s) 24: Flight Game/Flight Sim...
Use the Wii-mote to perform the actions of the pilot's/character on screen hands. Use two Wii-motes? One for each hand? A Context sensetive menu (say, like Resident Evil 4?) where only one button is pressed ( say A?) to to perform CERTAIN actions-(flip switches in the cockpit etc). However-All other actions that can be mapped directly to the Wii-motes(motion sensors) for FREEHAND control with the Wii-motes should be done so?

SPECIAL PERIHPERAL?: Maybe Nintendo should develop ONE special peripheral that can be morphed or adjusted (very easily) for all the different type of games that require it?
For Flight Sims, Motocar Racers, F-ZERO/futuristic racers, motorcycle racers and F1 Racing?

OF COURSE: Current peripherlas like the gamecube Logitech steering wheel could still be used inside the gamecube controller ports of the Wii console!
nice touch :)

ALSO: If ANOTHER steering wheel is developed/SPECIAL PERIPHERAL or any perihperal that the Wii-mote plugs into specifically for the Wii then automatically it becomes wireless through the Wii-mote?
Another nice touch :)

Now let me continue Idea 23:

The 2 Wii-mote configuration for this SPECIAL PERIHPERAL will make a steering joystick like the ones in a real aircraft? Thus that would be used to control "flight" heh. Also as I stated before above: in cockpit actions/first person mode and so on is controlled by the two Wii-motes in both hands?
But That would mean the Wii-motes would have to be detacheable somehow from this SPECIAL PERIPHERAL(in this case it would be joystick to control the aircraft) so you can perform in game FREEHAND actions in the cockpit. The motion sensors in the Wii-motes mimic your actions in 3D on screen. Then when your ready for "flight" you re-attach them quickly and easily to start to "fly" the aircraft!

What I just outlined is as I said for FIRST PERSON view as the "pilot" inside the "cockpit" of the aircraft, but could a 3rd person view be done, using ONE Wii-remote(*as seen at E3 2006--little guy with red plane!), or will first person view work for ALL GAMERS: Non gamers and seasoned gamers alike? This has to be looked at carefully, anyone including my mom should be able to play this game!

Idea 24: by ME.

Idea(s) 23: Motor Racers(motorcars,motorbikes,futuristic racers)
Again as I outlined above, this game will use the SPECIAL PERIPHERAL that could be changed/morphed, very easily by any user into the shape for each game title, wether a car racer, motorbike racer or futuristic racer!

MotoCar Racer: Use ONE Wii-mote just like with Excite Truck? done? What about first person view inside the vehicle using the special steering wheel peripheral, where the Wiimotes would slot in to form the steering wheel--well it would have to be morphed into the steering wheel shape OR Nintendo will jsut have to make a seperate one, if this special peripheral morphing isn't possible?

Motorbikes Racers: First Person view, again the special peripheral morhps into the "cockpit" of a motorbike with the handlebard and you view the odometer layout of your bike! Vroom!
Wii-motes can detach at either side of the special peripheral to control the riders hands on screen(curl your characters fingers-see them inside some cool leather gloves-the ones that don't cover you fingers?, twist you hands to view you palms?) in what you could call "FREEHAND mode"- just as above with the pilot inside the aircraft cockpit?

You know I think I like that term FREEHAND MODE..I think many games should do this FREEHAND stuff and take it very seriously as it is what truly uses the Wii-motes to their full potential as the motion sensors are always involved, and it makes games more immersive!

And yes, yes yes, it wouldn't be a motocycle if you didn't get to REV UP the bikes engines by doing the twisting action on your Wii-motes, just as one would on a real bike!

Futuristic Racer: F-ZERO Grand Prix...Your in first person view controlling the ship in first person mode and the special peripheral is changed once again this time to mimic the layout of the joysticks in say: Captain Falcon's ship. That would sertainly make you feel like the Captain himself inside the ship! Imagine leaning this peripheral that resembles the joysticks of the ship two control landings(pull back or push forward), to steer left or right of course, and to do attacks on other ships! Although the attack could also be mapped to the A buttons or somthing..Imagine the two B buttons to represent the two red buttons that are on Falcon Joysticks in the game? I wonder what those do?

I wonder if all this is really possible?
OK, unto a couple more things...

Bicycle racing!: I just came up with this one, since we have motorcycles or motorbikes whichever you prefer, why not normal bicycles...

Imagine a bicycle simulator? Imagine WIFI or WiiConnect24... online bicycle races! Again using the SPECIAL PERIPHERAL, it morphs into the shape of the you know-the handlebars of the bicycle this time- and you control the bike with them in first person mode. Also again a FREEHAND mode where you de-tach the Wii-motes to control the riders hands on the screen and then re-attach to get riding!

NOTE: In editing this blog I was thinking Instead of all this de-taching AND re-attaching business, why not jsut map those actions to buttons like A,1,2 or the D-pad? BUT thats the problem it makes the motion sensors NULL and VOID which is getting away from what the Wii-motes is capable of...your effectively wasting the most intuative thing about the controllers!

Maybe this bicycle could make for very good excercise!

Lets say add another perihperal into the mix..ACTUAL BIKE PEDALS!.
to be made specially for these bicycle games? The cycle part...so gamers can actually do the cycling and get a real workout while enjoying the game! Of course for those that don't want that(or mayve even can't do that?)...what other way could you control the cycling part..map it to buttons(holding A,B,1,2?) or put it on rails(continuous cycling by the CPU) and then you press a button to stop and then go again? I dunno, how have they done bicycle videogames in the past?

F1 Racer: Formula 1 Wii!
Pit stops: using one Wii-mote you take the wheel nuts off just like the pit crew in real life!
You take the tyres of just like the pit crew...The simple intuative action of reaching forward and grabbing with your two hands-using the two Wii-motes, or maybe one Wii-mote and the "Nuncahku" expansion could be used as you may have to move your charcater around? Remembering that the "nuncahku" expansion also has a motion sensor that can detect that simple forward thrusting action and so can the Wii-mote, maybe then a button will need to be pressed so your character on screen will grip the tyres, then you simply pull back the controllers so that your character on screen pulls backs their hands with the tyre gripped in hand? To drop the tyres, again press one simple button?

Alsoam thinking every person in the pit crew( man?) could be simulated using the Wii-motes to perform ALL their "pit actions". Refuelers, dirt, gravel and object removers, helmet wipers, and of course the Lollipop man!
Now that would be awesome!

As for inside the Car cockpit, again the SPECIAL PERIPHERAL (this time for a F1 steering wheel) comes in. Morphed into a F1 steering Wheel where the TWO Wii-motes slot-in? And don't forget FREEHAND Mode where you could de-tach them Wii-motes and take control of the drivers hands and do freehand actions and/or context button pressing to do things on all those buttons and knobs and gadgets found on an F1 driver's steering wheel! Those I hear are ..ahem pretty EXPENSIVE! Hopefully though the peripheral for Wii, will be affordable for "Wii" poor gamers like us! :)

LASTLY, but certainly not least, imagine ANY of the games I outlined above online using WIFI WiiConnect24 for Wii!

Imagine the online communities that could be formed, the rankings the competitions and contest...

Imagine purchasing the first GAME DVD for any of these games, say like F1 Racing and getting dynamic updates over WiiConnect24, as the seasons change as the tracks change or even the drivers change teams or leave the sport...Wow!

No need to buy a game again and again that does the same things of previous years...UNLESS its somthing totally new and totally radically different, just update the game update the driver roster, update the tracks etc etc...Wow!

Of course Wii gamers would pay through a simple and easy to use straightforward online transaction system, nothing like the overhyped, overdone, overcomplicated (although I being technically savvy could figure it out-I don't want to- I just want to play a frigin game damn you!) PS3(playstation card? give me a break SONY) and Xbox Live fuffle-ma-guffle multimedia hub nonsense!

Simple FREE easy...stick with that model Nintendo! Well of course we are going to pay for things like Virtual Concole and as I just said to update the games.. heh :)

So thats it FOR NOW.

Ideas 23: by ME.

Thanks to all of you out there on the WWW for reading and I hope you like at least ONE of these "Wii" :) ideas?

I TRULY hope someone from Nintendo is reading this blog.

more to come soon hopefully...

Wii Game Ideas (file3)...

OK, here goes file 3...

Idea 22: In response to idea 18...
That sounds like the game Ghost Master for PC.... which is an awesome game!!!!!!!!!
Great idea I think it'd work very well with Wii!

Idea 22: by : omgadam @ Gamespot Forums

Idea 21: A Folding Puzzle game?...
also still believe in a folding puzzle game. You know a puzzle game like tetris, not an adventure.Where You got to fold a piece of paper in ways the Wii tells You, and the less precise You are the harder it gets to keep folding in the right way.

Idea 21: by : KungfuKitten @ Gamespot Forums

Idea 20: In response to Idea 19...
.....That would rule, a Thief game would be awesome too with the wii-mote, especially if they somehow can simulate hiding/crouching/being silent, with the wii-mote. Maybe when You cover the weapon/wii-mote with Your hand (don't know wether they can figure out a standard move for that though). Your character sneaks. Or by making a motion with the remote as if You're pulling Your cap over Your head. Or by dropping the controls to Your waist or so.

Idea 20: by : KungfuKitten @ Gamespot Forums

Idea 19: Wii Hitman! An exclusive hitman title for it.
Simple fire guns with the wii-mote, slash with the wii-mote, fibrewire with the wii-mote, open doors with the wii-mote, set up guns with the wii-mote, pick locks with the wii-mote and many more.....

Idea 19: by : smackbang @ Gamespot Forums

Idea 18: In response to Idea 17...
Wow, you really liked that idea huh? You guys should check out more of the ideas at Patric Curry's website. There's one more of his ideas that i find interesting. Its a game about a haunted hotel, all is well and normal right?

Well not really, you play as the hotel! You take control of the haunted building which someone is trying to turn into a fully functional hotel once again. And there's nothing a haunted building loves more than being left alone. From there on your mission is to use all of your powers to scare the hell out the clientelle.

You get to explore their fears and then use them to your advantage. Imagine you find out [perhaps reading someone's dreams] that they are afraid of spiders, so being the evil little thing you are, you dump a thousand spiders on him while he sleeps. Make a flying torso tour the corridors of the hotel at night, make blood drip from the walls, etc.

You have to try and get every customer to check out early and finally scare the owner into closing the hotel once and for all, thing is the owner isnt scared easily and you will have to be very strategic on how you approach him. Thats an interesting concept huh? Kinda like evil genius, playing the bad guy on a simulator.

Idea 18 supported by: Eonifer @ Gamespot Forums

more of the same on the way folks?...

Wii Game Ideas (file2)...

The ideas keep coming! Roll the second file...

Idea 17: In response to idea 9: -Loup-Garou-
Wow... the 'hearing Your thoughts through Your wiimote" is an awesome idea! Maybe especially so for a film noir game. Can't believe how much such a little speaker can add. I'd love something like a werewolf/vampier game in which You have to control Yourself. This genre has always lend itself perfectly for moody intruiging stories of desire, order, balance, love, conspiracies, destruction, betrayal.

Here are some added thoughts for a werewolf game/story/setting, it could be a bit of an action and adventure game combined: A village. Animals are found dead around it. Rumours arising in the village of diseases, then strange sightings at night. One night You murder Your wife in bed. You wake up next to her remains without a choice. You have to quickly clean up the mess before anyone finds out. Of course someone does. You're no professional murderer...
You're not sure what You are, unsure of what got into You. That curious someone keeps coming closer to the truth, finding out what You are before You do Yourself. You'll be on that curious person's trail. He's not to good at hiding his tracks himself apparently. You think he wants to tell the village but that he suspects You're onto him too, and if You'd find out he'd be dead. So You figure he tries to be discrete with telling the village people, who are desperately trying to figure out what is happening to their village. Who is the psychopath doing this, whom to blaim and execute. There isn't really an answer, just increasing panic and chaos, fear at night.

Sadly, it happens to be a genius, the doctor in town. You try, but fail horribly at getting rid of him during that day. You are no murderer. There's no time, especially since the village people are noticing Your strange behaviour and Your wife not showing up where she usually hangs out. Your bloodlust at night certainly hasn't been decreasing. You keep an eye on him for now, and he knows it. You decide to let the beast in You kill him during the night. The doctor can't escape Your beastial fury but in order to survive manages to scream Your name, a beast of the night, the one who is murdering, and people hear his cry.

After gunshots and chasings You barely manage to get away breathing, waking up scared. Are You too late? This day the doctor is gone. The people are accusing each other, and You too. There are more disappearings.. Not just animals anymore, these are people being missed. Everyone's on high alert and fearing each other, even their own children. Apparently someone stirred some more confusion? You aren't the only one going through all this? Or did You do things You can't remember? At night You find a carriage, the doctor must have wanted to leave the village, just after what happened.

There's not much left of his body but You do find a note addressed to You. Apparently he wanted to tell You something before making his escape. It says he's sorry but can't take this any longer, sorry about letting them know Your name. That he knows all about Your actions, and that he did come across important information, Your situation might not be helpless. That he also knew there were others, others You might be able to contact, identify. That those were the very reasons he didn't show anyone else his findings before. But the situation got from animal murder to massacre so sudden that fearing his own life he's left this damned place for good. Other werewolves heard the doctor cry Your name that night he got attacked, and contact You.

It was them who saved Your life, they were the ones who started to blame each other after the doctor cried Your name. They want to talk, somewhere safe. There isn't much choise, You might find a way to make this madness end, Your madness too. You got no more life anyway. Can't eat, can't sleep, this is murder. The group does have a way to control itself but it isn't all that humane. You don't like it at all. The doctor mentioned in that note he came across important information. You search his place but can't find much. His room is wrecked, torn to pieces. You do find something in a corner to guide You on Your way. While trying to figure out the doctors thoughts, the werewolves don't seem to like losing You out of sight. You dont want to be their next pick and try to win their confidence by helping them out, from dusk till dawn.

The clan becomes more demanding though, and it becomes impossible to continue Your search while serving the clan. At some point You learn enough to take the wager and disappear from their clan. They hunt You down and while You're getting close to the possible solution the werewolves find You too. Later on You also find some of the doctors notes in the clans lair, apparently someone knew about his alternative solution.. what's going on here? Would love to write a possible truth but it's so late and You people are far more creative than me. I'd just like a game going a bit like this or so ^.^ Sorry that it turned so long.

Idea 17: by : KungfuKitten @ Gamespot Forums

Idea 16: Wii Olympics - A blend of various 'mini-games'.
I think it would be a great party game. You have Archery, where you simply hold A to go into 1st person vision mode, pull back the Wii-mote steady, click Z on the Wii-mote to hold breath for a split second, and release A to shoot the arrow.

Marksmanship - A vision mode where you keep the Wii-mote steady, hold A to hold your breath, then press Z to shoot (the reason for the buttons being switched between the 2 is it feels naturally closer to the real thing on each one, and it's only 2 buttons to know).

Street luge - controlled like excite truck, tilt back to slow down, tilt forward to go fast. Fencing - pretty self explanatory with the Wii-mote, but hold A to toggle into defensive moves while moving the Wii-mote. Hangliding - A throwback to the original Track and Field game, direct your hanglider into the rings for points using Wii Sports - Pilot Wings type control.

Table Tennis - With your Wii-mote you control a paddle that doesn't sit out on-screen, where you only see it when you serve, swing, etc. (* There was already a demo for this at E3).

Bowling - The Wiimote is your hand - Hold A pull back and swing forward remembering to come in with the Wii-mote at a slight angle for spin and release A at the right moment. This could be 1st or 3rd person. While the ball is rolling down the alley, remember to put extra spin on it whichever way you want by tapping the D-Pad in the way you want, and at the speed you want. I may write more ideas on this game in the future. ...

...Gymnastics - Arguably the most popular sport in the real olympics, run to the springboard by pressing A, Z back and forth, time it to where you hit A at the board to jump, then in the air, hold A to flip, Z to rotate, move your Wii-mote in a circular motion that judges how many times you flip, then release all buttons and steady Wii-mote to land....but wait, upon landing, tilt the Wii-mote the opposite way your on-screen player may be leaning if it isn't a perfect landing to keep them from falling (*This would be a side scroller). Balance beam - Hold wii-mote steady, and tilt the opposite direction if your person is falling. Flick to jump, and hold A to flip and/or Z to rotate, then when you land steady yourself and do it, then you'll be prompted to dismount and do the landing procedure.

The 3 Pole Thing (sorry I don't know the correct term) - This would be side scrolling, but with a pointer on screen, so you could do the flick to jump to the next beam and at dismount prompt, A (flip), Z (rotate)Wii-pointer circular motions, but aim the pointer on the beam you jumped to and let everything and when your hands are closest to the bar (*or you could let everything go and have to hit A again but I prefer the first option). To make the person flip while the hands are on the pole you would have to hold A and move the pointer in a circular motion so the controller wouldn't think you were flicking. I'm sure for this one these controls wouldn't be the final case but just an example. At the end of each jump in each event, you would be scored by your opponents on-line or by the CPU scoring system. I'm trying to steer away from the button mashing and furious swinging things like sprinting and such would cause, and there doesn't seem to be a real way to measure power on games yet so you could add any sport in and make it a timing game, also, but I feel that these are the most unique, and original for the game.

Idea 16: by : jdknight21 @ Gamespot Forums

Idea 15: don't ask for much...
I JUST WANT A FRIGGING BOXING GAME!!! or a somekind of crazy music game where you make the moves using the wiimote.

Idea 15: by : lordzeld @ Gamespot Forums

Idea 14: A music game where you press...
The various buttons on the Wiimote to play notes then tilt and rotate the controller to change the tone and pitch of the notes. The more you tilt it, the faster you move it, the more effect and variation you can add to the sound. Imagine waving you arm around slowly and creating really trancy floaty hypnotic electric sounds... If you remember the sound of the musical instrument in the live action He-Man movie...I am thinking something like that in terms of sound. Also more than one person could play using another Wiimote. Trippy maaaaaan!

Idea 14: by : freeload @ Gamespot Forums

Idea 13: An F-Zero game for the Wii.
You use the same the Wii-Mote the same way you would use it for Excite Truck. How does that sound?

Idea 13: by : magiciandude @ Gamespot Forums

Idea 12: There needs to be a true horror game.
One that every time you play it, it scares you. The Wii has the best capability for this. The control style allows for freedom of movement. Needs to be in first person perspective for the best scare tactics. You get to create an avatar of sorts to represent how you look in the game. The point is not to kill everything, but to survive. The big appeal of this game is the online play. You and other people get placed in the same area and have to survive together. The use of a microphone would help communicate, and depth can be noticed in people's voices. And just think about trying to survive with someone who doesn't speak your language; survive with language barriers. WiiConnect24 could constantly be updating to the game so there's a new fright in store. You will never know what to expect when you turn it on.

Idea 12: by : yeyahbenji @ Gamespot Forums

Idea 11: There should be some kind of marionette game...
Since the nunchuck attachment will have motion sensing too... Read about it here: -Loup-Garou- Its by far one of the best game concepts i've read in a long while! Imagine tending to your farming duties with the wii-mote, hearing your own thoughts as a wolf through the wii-mote speakers, etc. The concept is great even if it wasn't on the Wii but it adds a whole new level of fun to it.

Idea 9 supported by: Eonifer @ Gamespot Forums

Idea 8: Harry "Wii" Potter:
New Harry Potter game - you could use a Wii-mote as a magic wand.

Idea 8: by : Psipsia @ Gamespot Forums

Idea 7: Tell me what u think...
I think i've just had an excellent idea for the nintendo Wii.

Here it goes: I think that players are getting bored from following linear storylines, every with its own interface, gameplay, music, physics and goals. I believe that the next step for enjoying other people's creations is to make yours. That's when the image of a Zelda game with "A link to the past's" graphic style came to my mind. I've seen tries of making this for PC's, but none of these are "user friendly", nor official ( concerning marketing and stuff ), nor string enough.

I think that nintendo could take a big step. They own a big gaming past (nes and snes). Which would add it a nostalgia value and also, i think this goes along with the company's innovative-leading record. How cool would that be if you could make your own zelda game or mario map if you had the right tools for it. Nintendo releasing an easy and self explainable game making software with a good user's map sharing-distributing possibility via wii-connect, that would be awesome cuz at least for me "creating is fun". That would be great if u just turn on your Wii and checked a list of the brand new mario bros maps or zelda quests, user made and also being able to play them online.

Trust me ... people will create great things. I've seem it in Starcraft, they do. When you give them the right tools people likes to create cuz its fun. And apearently the Wii, seems to have been made with a good interface for making this easier, so i think it's possible. I think that my idea is good. I just hope it reaches nintendo somehow. Any help would be appreciated.

Idea 7: by :
Idea 4: If not in Wii Music then Wii Rockstars - Hone your skills in drums (hit where the drum is on screen, synth pad (hit where the synth is on screen (change key or toggle through pre-set sets of sounds with A and Z, bass and guitar ( d - pad determines which strings you hold down, move Wii-mote down (or up and down) to strum. A and Z could be to play the strings in different keys), and find a singer with the voice your band is looking for. After you've completed some single player training, now take this game on-line and get a band member for each instrument, or use your friends at home. Share clips of your music on WiiConnect24, select different venues backgrounds, and even have real songs programmed into the game where if you mess up the crowd reacts.
*I've heard that they were working on something like this for DS a while back, but I think this could be a blockbuster of a game for who ever develops it on Wii.

Ideas 4,5 & 6: by : jdknight21 @ Gamespot Forums

Idea 3: Aaaaargh matee?! :)...A pirates game where u use the Wii-mote as the hand the whole time so you can pick pocket stear a ship, choke someone, shoot, sword fight or whatever.
